“The 2023 Planetes Clàssic was produced with a blend of 60% Garnacha, 30% Cariñena and 10% Garnacha Peluda, their ideal blend; if they have more Garnacha, they use it for the ancestral Astral. The wine has complexity and depth, with red and black fruit, a stony sensation and a medium-bodied palate with fine tannins. Only Cariñena ferments with full clusters, and the wine matured in 15-year-old 3,000-liter foudres for 18 months. Lowered by the Cariñena, it has 13.5% alcohol—the minimum required by the appellation—and balancing acidity. 11,200 bottles produced. It was bottled in April 2025.”
